Neighbourhood Watch
Background
By working together, Positive Response Communications and Local Neighbourhood Watch Schemes are making communities more secure.
When we started working with a local Neighbourhood Watch Scheme our goal was to develop a technological solution to help them to provide temporary security alarms to their members.
The result has been a totally unique security system that also provides a valuable income for Neighbourhood Watch Schemes. Affordable, personal and home security solutions, which really do prevent loss and help reduce crime in the community.
How it Works
Our portable security alarm system works by combining innovative technology with the skills of our monitoring centre staff. The small and discrete control unit is quick and surprisingly easy to install, with no experience necessary. The unit simply plugs into a telephone socket with the wireless infra-red sensors placed at key points around the property. A push of a button and the system springs into action! When the alarm is triggered the control unit connects to our monitoring centre where our highly skilled staff can hear any sounds within the property and can take appropriate action.
Our unique system also includes our innovative portable panic button, so it’s ideal for people who may be temporarily vulnerable or ill. Your members can rest assured that help and assistance is always there at the push of a button, giving real peace of mind.
Generating Income Neighbourhood Watch members may already be security aware, but they might not feel the need, or have the financial resources, to install a quality security alarm system in their property. By investing in a portable security alarm system, your local Neighbourhood Watch can make a real difference in reducing crime in your community. And many Neighbourhood Watch schemes have accessed grant funding to purchase the equipment, so it needn’t cost you a penny!
Renting an alarm to members when their property is vulnerable, such as when they’re on holiday, is a win-win situation. It makes sound financial sense for your members, reassuring them that someone is monitoring their property, and it can be a valuable source of income for your Neighbourhood Watch.
